Passionate about: Conducting research that seeks to deepen understanding of how digital tools can support equitable access to education and learning.
Experience: Prior to joining AnswerLab, as an education technology researcher, I conducted research that generated new insights into how technology can be integrated effectively to improve outcomes for students. Much of that work focused on designing and developing digital experiences for participants of national efficacy studies. In particular, thinking through the ways that young children and their caregivers interact with digital media and technology for learning purposes and how best to design mobile applications that enhance those experiences.
